Mary Jones

Mary is an original Andson team-member, following the closing of founder Sonia Anderson’s business, Christian Credit Counseling. For Sonia, asking Mary to come back on board was an obvious choice. “I was in banking for over 20 years and most definitely ready for a career change,” Mary explained. Mary Jones is our Human Resources Director.

Mary was born in North Carolina but grew up in Carlsbad, California. Over the course of having her four daughters with husband Dave, Mary went to Mira Costa College for one year, started working part time at Security Pacific Bank and then Home Savings (which are now Bank of America and Chase Bank). Despite being regularly surrounded by finance, the idea of doing something more for the youth consistently kept a place in her heart. “I’ve always loved kids and always wanted to help people,” she recollects. “I was excited to help the children that really need help.” 

When not working, Mary spends lots of time with her family, barbecuing and having a good time. Her daughters have given her 4 beautiful granddaughters. Mary also enjoys watching, the San Diego Padres, and the Los Angeles Chargers.
